GeneralDescription
The RV-2310 is a 3U OpenVPX™ FPGA Signal Processing Board forsignal processing applications requiring commercial air-cooled orconduction-cooled equipment. It is specifically designed for the most demanding
applications. Combining a large DDR3 buffer memory andhigh-speedlinks to the backplane and FMC site along with harsh environmentcriteria The Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGA provides hard-core PCIe support. Otherprotocols
can also be implemented in the fabric, including SRIO, SFPDP andEthernet (up to 10GbE). Onboard clock generators are provided for highprecisiontiming applications, and clock inputs and outputs are available
for external synchronization and to improve high-speed signalintegrity. provide an FPGA BSP, which implements an abstraction layer for board-specificfunctionalities and provides seamless integration with Xilinx
development tools. Complete functional examples are alsoprovided in order to jump-start the application development process.Integration examples for other high-level synthesis tools (ESL) are alsoavailable on
request.
An Advanced Board Management Controller (aBMC) is implementedfor VITA 46.11 support, configuration management, event logging and other supportingtasks.
